Maylin Garcia, APRN
Biography:
Maylin Garcia, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a transplant coordinator at the KIDZ Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami. She is in charge of coordinating and providing inpatient and outpatient care post-transplantation as well as care for patients in the bone marrow failure program. As a family nurse practitioner, she approaches the care of her patients in a holistic way which includes offering strong support and education for the caregivers in the family.
She obtained her undergraduate degree at Chamberlin University in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated with a Bachelors in Science of Nursing and a Master in Science of Nursing specializing in family practice from the University of Miami.
