Biography:
Dawn K. George, M.D., an obstetrician and gynecologist, began practicing medicine in South Florida in 2006. She is Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
Dr. George specializes in robotic surgeries and minimally invasive procedures and treats women needing maternal-fetal medicine and well-woman care. This includes vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, miscarriage and postpartum support, ectopic pregnancy, fibroids, polyps, sexually-transmitted diseases, endometrial biopsy and bariatric surgery.
A 2002 Honors graduate of Wayne State University Medical School in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. George completed her residency training at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina and the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio.
Dr. George is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
