Loreta Gonzalez Vento, APRN
Biography:
Loreta Gonzalez Vento MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner at KIDZ Medical, specializing in Pediatric Genetics. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Barry University in 2013. At Barry, she worked in the NICU at South Miami Hospital and won the Community Nursing Award given out by the Baptist Hospital Scholars Program. She continued her studies at Nova Southeastern University and earned a master’s degree in Family Practice Nursing.
At KIDZ Medical, she began as a neonatal APRN in the NICU at South Miami Hospital. During the 2020 pandemic, she helped implement a new telemedicine program for NICU babies and fellow colleagues, which provided continuity of care for parents after they took their babies home. She now works as an APRN at KIDZ Pediatric Genetics & Metabolism at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
