Biography:
Lauryn Gascon, PA-C, MPAS is a board-certified physician’s assistant at KIDZ Medical, specializing in pediatric cardiology. She earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Florida International University, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA, receiving the Academic Excellence Award for highest GPA in the program. At FIU, she achieved the top score in the following clinical clerkships: surgery, women’s health, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and psychiatry. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities Scholarship Program. She is further certified in Basic Life Skills (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS) by the American Heart Association. Prior to joining KIDZ Medical, she worked at Baptist Hospital and Jackson Memorial Hospital. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
