Chad Sanborn, MD
Biography:
Dr. Sanborn attended Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, for his undergraduate studies in biology and later received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark. He then completed a three-year pediatric infectious disease fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he received extensive training with immunosuppressed patients, HIV infected patients. He also had the opportunity to research malaria testing in Cap-Haitien, Haiti.
He has been working as a pediatric infectious disease physician in Palm Beach County for more than 10 years. He treats patients with a wide range of infectious diseases such as MRSA, recurrent fevers, skin and bone infections, parasitic infections, HIV, recurrent viral infections, and travel medicine patients.
Dr. Sanborn is board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases from the American Board of Pediatrics.
He is very active in teaching third- and fourth-year medical students at Florida Atlantic University’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine in Boca Raton, and the University of Vermont’s Larner College of Medicine in Burlington.
Dr. Sanborn has privileges Palm Beach Children’s Hospital at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Palms West Hospital, West Boca Medical Center, Bethesda Hospital East, Broward Health Coral Springs Medical Center.
Dr. Sanborn lives in Broward County with his wife and two daughters.
