Diana C. Rodriguez-Hidalgo, MD
Biography:
Dr. Diana Rodriguez-Hidalgo is a dedicated, board-certified pediatric infectious diseases specialist who strives for excellence in the management of pediatric patients with complex infections.
Born and raised in Manizales, Colombia, she obtained her medical degree at the Caldas University in Manizales, Colombia, in 2000. She pursued her passion for pediatrics and underwent her pediatric residency training at St. Joseph’s Children’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, and Mount Sinai’s Medical School in New York City. Dr. Rodriguez-Hidalgo then moved to Miami and completed her fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami in 2012.
Dr. Rodriguez-Hidalgo enjoys helping children overcome the health challenges posed by severe infectious diseases. Her primary interests include infections in cancer patients, premature infants with congenital exposures and infections, and sepsis. During her free time she loves spending time with her husband and daughter, playing with her dog, dancing classical ballet, and reading.
