Kaitlin Collins, APRN
Biography:
Kaitlin Collins, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at KIDZ Medical Services, specializing in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Western Governor’s University In Salt Lake City, Utah after earning an associate degree in Nursing from East Mississippi Community College. In December 2023, she was awarded a Master’s of Science Degree in Family Practice Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama.
She has previously worked as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Unit at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas as well as in the Telemetry Unit at West Boca Medical Center. Additionally, she has worked as a Registered Nurse at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and as an Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in Mississippi. APRN Collins has also worked at Palm Beach Children’s Hospital in the Pediatric Oncology Department. She was named Palm Beach Children’s Hospital Nurse of the Quarter in July 2018 and Nurse of the Year in 2019.
APRN Collins holds the following certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and is certified by the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) as a Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider.
