Maria E. Franco, MD
Biography:
Dr. Maria E. Franco is a Pediatric Pulmonologist at KIDZ Medical Services. She graduated from Nuestra Senora del Rosario Medical School in Bogota, Colombia and completed a fellowship at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Dr. Franco was Chief Resident in Pediatrics at Crozer Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.
She became Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1998 and Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonology in 2000. Dr. Franco serves as the President of the Medical Staff at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Franco is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and did volunteer work as a Pediatric Intensivist with Operation Smile in Kenya, Brazil, Ecuador, Philippines, and Vietnam.
