Mario Tano, MD
Biography:
Dr. Mario Tano graduated from medical school in 1981. His research and clinical training in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology were completed at the Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, New York, as well as at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 1990, Dr. Tano moved to Hollywood, Florida, and established the Children’s Center for Gastroenterology & Nutrition. In 2012, he joined KIDZ Medical Services for which he serves as medical director of the GI division. He is on staff at many area hospitals, including Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital for which he previously served as director of pediatrics. Dr. Tano is renowned as an expert in the field of pediatric gastroenterology.
